Ray party of 8 had dinner at Saltwater Cafe and rated the food excellent because, "This was my a first time for me and to tell you the truth, i didnt no what to expect. Delicious!" and writes on March 16, 2010, "They had this new item on the menue...The server ranted a raved about it. It dish was Japanese Steak House Special!  Let me tell you, it was much more than i expected. It was great piece of steak covered with scallops and shrimp served with an out of this world suce. The presentation of this dish was so delightfull that it was sad to see it go. It defently hit the spot. I would recomend this place to anyone! Great all around. Cant wait to take the family out again! Lots of thumbs uo to the chef... the only problem was he wouldnt tell me the secret sauce. Ill guess ill have to come back again....real soon."

Lori Marshall party of 5 had dinner at Saltwater Cafe and rated the fish fry excellent because, "Fresh and well prepared" and writes on January 28, 2007, "The Friday fish fry is excellent! Several different types of fried fish with a couple of different seasoned batters made this meal very good, and above the rest for a fish fry. The side dishes were also very fresh and well prepared. Fast and friendly service from a very good waiter. Very child friendly with a great kid menu, much better than most. The ice cream is first rate too."

Tina Pinho had brunch at  Salt water Cafe and rated the food very good because, "What we ordered, we expected it to be good" and writes on March 1, 2005 "My husband and I decided that being it was a pouring rainy Sunday and we couldn't eat outside we headed down to the Salt Water Cafe. It was around 1:00pm on this Sunday and when we entered it was packed. We got a nice table in the main room but I would have preferred the Bar area so we could listen and see the two people that were singing. Waitress Jeannie was a real doll, explained the 2 for 1 drinks. A while later she took our order for the Crunchy Grouper Diner which consisted of a huge piece of grouper coated in corn flakes and the batter was light and of course fried. Came with the tartar sauce and extra lemon and garlic mash potatoes and 2 med. sized stuffed tomatoes with a bread crumb stuffing. Also had the Onion soup which was outstanding. Lots of onions, very light not that dark overcooked onion soup you sometimes see with plenty of gruyere cheese on top. Delicious and Hot! My husband opted for the Brunch menu and got the Swiss Skillet which also consisted of a free Mimosa. He loved it and said it was hot and freshly made with lots of fluffy eggs, vegetables, bacon and melted Swiss on top and it was large also and came in this huge heavy skillet. His coffee was good and toast was hot. The only problem we had was that some young waiter brought out our entrees before they brought out my soup. Had to send it back and tell them to give our entrees to someone else. When they finally brought my soup it was the wrong one. Some cheese soup in a bread bowl. Before I could even say anything he just plopped it in front of me and took off. Finally our waitress Jeannie came over and apologized and she took the situation in hand and made sure my soup got delivered and it was nice and hot and then waited before she brought out our entrees and she made sure they were fresh not sitting under some lights. She said she has no control over the way they deliver the food and that is their system. Very poor in my opinion. Not her fault and we appreciated everything she did and we commented on that on a satisfactory card they provided me with. Chef Rolf I think needs to revise his system in serving his customers. All in all because it was a rainy day and we did certainly take our time, we won't be in a hurry to be back anytime soon. "
