2 ordered Duck entree, wiener schnitzel, chocolate pate sabayon,
ice cream parfait w/homemade crushed toffee & yummy sauce and
rated the food excellent because, "Every aspect of this meal was
superior" and writes on December 13, 2004, "This may be our new
favorite restaurant in the Sarasota area! Although pricey, we
don't mind when the food is this outstanding. Everything
prepared to perfection. Plus, it's so nice to have desserts that
are both different and exquisitely prepared; a great treat from
the usual mundane, off-site prepared offerings at so many fine
restaurants. To top it off, the service was efficient,
knowledgeable, and polite, but not intrusive. (No chit chat, no
"my favorite is" recitation, no fawning.) In the fine dining
venue, this restaurant reigns!"

"The appetizers and main courses exceeded our expectations."
Anonymous ordered escargot, scallops, duck, veal and writes, "On
July 22 I had a wonderful dining experience at Roessler's
restaurant. Three of my female friends and I decided to have an
evening out. My husband and I had eaten at Roessler's 2x
previously and we appreciated the lovely romantic atmosphere. I
now realize it also works well as a gathering spot for friends.
The head waiter and the owner were both very attentive and
helped us find a wine that would satisfy our varied tastes.
The food was delicious and the presentation flawless. Although
the price does not make this a restaurant that I will visit on a
regular basis, it is at the top of my list for special
occasions."
