Anonymous party of 4 had dinner at Mi Pueblo on Tuttle
and rated the Taco Salad excellent because, "great, delicious, hot
and wonderful. I would go again." and writes on August 16, 2009, "I
rated the service excellent as my waiters and waitresses treated me
as if I was the only one there. Very personable, the food was
brought hot and delicious. My family goes to all of their
restaurants and I love the one in Venice. I love their tamales and
tacos."

Tuttle and rated the Chiles Rellenos, Tacos, Burritos on 1/30/10 as
very good because "authentic, good quality and presented well." and
writes: "Poor rating - Table turning -
We have always loved the food and restaurant on Bee Ridge. Our first
visit to the larger University location last night (1/30/10) with
our out-of-town guests was very disappointing. We arrived at 6:00
and were seated after a 15-20 minute wait in the bar with drinks -
no problem, very enjoyable. Our seat was in the covered semi-private
booth - very nice. Our waitress noted we already had drinks and gave
us our menus. After one minute she returned to see if we were ready
to order and we said ok, but several of us had just started to look
at the extensive menu. We placed our order quickly and included an
appetizer for all. The appetizer arrived very quickly and, as we
started to pass around the appetizer, our food order arrived. We ate
the appetizers with the food. Halfway though our meal, our waitress
arrived to ask if we wanted dessert. We said probably not, but we're
only half done with our meal. The plates were whisked away as we
finished and the check arrived. Our waitress came by every minute to
ask if everything was OK and looked down at the bill. After the
third visit by our waitress (5 minutes after the bill arrived) we
got the message, and said "OK we'll pay the bill and leave". She
then apologized and said her manager wanted her to "keep busy". We
paid the bill and included a 15% tip and left at 7:00. We sat in
that booth for only 40 minutes! Talk about "turning tables". I know
it's a tough business, but we will not be back. We were there for
dinner with friends, not a quick lunch."
