2008 Spring Training
The Philadelphia Phillies hold
their 2008 spring training in Clearwater, Florida. Philadelphia
opens the Grapefruit League season -- their fifth at BrightHouse
Networks Field -- on February 27 vs. the Reds, their first of 17
home games in Clearwater. As usual, the Phillies will finish up
the spring with two On-Deck Series games at Citizens Bank Park
on March 28 and 29. The games will be against the Toronto Blue
Jays.
The Phillies begin their spring schedule with an exhibition game
against Florida State University on Feb. 26.
The Yankees, Philadelphia's Spring Training rivals, arrive on
March 1 and March 26 with the Phillies traveling down the road
to Tampa for visits to the Yankees on March 2 and 24.

February 19 - First workout for infielders and outfielders
